Sunset Ices is more than just an ice cream van.

It is a creative project that encompasses my love of faded seaside glamour, food, people, design and all things vintage.

Over the past few years I have lovingly restored my classic Bedford CF van, with the help of various mechanics and auto-electricians along the way!

The van has been resprayed and is adorned with traditional hand-drawn signage.
Everyday is like Sundae is painted along each side - a nod and a wink to the Morrissey song written about Morecambe, the town where I am based.

The van is festooned in bunting and features a changing 'back shelf exhibition' and displays from my collections of knitted ice creams and retro kitchen paraphernalia.

Sunset Ices evokes a simpler age of long summer days, bringing back a sense of uplifting fun and the frivolity of traditional British seaside holidays.
